Award-winning final-year project: procedurally animated active-ragdoll creatures with GPU-instanced interactive grass.

This was a final-year university project, and it won the Technical Excellence award at the Gamebridge Student Game Festival.

The aims of the project included the development of the following systems and presentation work:

  • Active ragdoll procedurally animated player character.
  • Active ragdoll procedurally animated enemy characters.
  • GPU instanced interactive grass.
  • Technical aesthetics, including the use and creation of 3D assets, shaders, particle systems, lighting, and post processing.
